Chkö Arte Objeto Gallery in collaboration with Aletheia Collective invite both Mexican and International Visual Artists, Graphic Designers, Product and Designers to express their creative potential in one original and unpublished piece to be submitted to the V Biennale of Contemporary Sacred Art representing the topic of “The Annunciation”.
This is an open, independent and inclusive call that seeks to express, in the words of Saint Augustine the beauty, uniqueness, truth and goodness of love that lies in the artistic work of this Century. Promoting Sacred Art in the conversation of the modern culture allows us to access and reinterpret one of the most emblematic, mysterious and polemic experience of the last two thousand years: Mary & the Annunciation.
Artists and creatives should be above the legal age of 21 years-old, both mexican and international alike, the Biennale holds a non-discrimination policy and welcomes artists of all race, color, national or ethnic origin, age, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression.
The selected pieces that according to the jury’s criteria have achieve quality standards and show respect to the subject of the Biennale will qualify to take part of the two acquisition prizes.
